Don Murray


With a robust track record in healthcare administration, IT, and revenue cycle management, Don's expertise is marked by delivering results through innovation and effective execution. His expertise in process improvement, strategy execution, and financial analysis, coupled with his background in revenue cycle and IT, provides a strong foundation to drive ROI and implement change across industries.

At CoreCivic, Don oversaw all offsite medical operations, including Centralized Scheduling, Provider Network, Claims Processing, Telehealth, and Data & Analytics. During his tenure at CoreCivic, he reduced offsite medical costs by nearly $22M per year and increased access to care by 100%. He improved claims processing and billing accuracy to over 99% and grew the offsite provider network to over 600 providers across the United States. Don’s proudest moment was receiving the highest engagement scores in Health Services and building a culture rooted in trust, empathy, and curiosity.

Previously, Don worked as a healthcare strategy and management consultant with a focus on Revenue Cycle Management and IT. His tenure with North Highland, Deloitte, and Chartis provided him with opportunities to support a variety of healthcare providers across the United States. Examples of these projects include leading Cerner and Epic installations, leading Revenue Cycle cutover activities for 26+ hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic, outsourcing Revenue Cycle operations, and implementing new Machine Learning and AI technology to help improve clinical documentation, reduce denials, and accelerate cash flow.

Don holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Trinity University, where he also played Men's Varsity Tennis from 2008-2011 and NCAA Division I Tennis at the College of Charleston in 2007-2008.
