Katherine M. Ungar
With a dynamic career spanning roles in management consulting, healthcare, and Property Casualty Reinsurance, Katherine has a proven record of accomplishment in driving revenue growth and forging impactful client relations. Her multifaceted approach, combining analysis, consultative sales, and robust marketing strategies, has consistently delivered exceptional outcomes.
Prior to Thrivence, Katherine served as the Global Director of Business Development for the Healthcare Industry at North Highland Consulting. Previously, she held the position of Manager of Business Development at Atlantic Health System in New Jersey.
Katherine has a distinguished insurance background, serving in past positions that include Senior Underwriter for Chubb Insurance Group and Second Vice President at General Reinsurance Corp (Berkshire Hathaway Inc). She attained two professional designations: Charter Property Casualty Underwrite (CPCU) and the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe).
Katherine holds a BS (double major in Marketing and Technical Communications) from Clarkson University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Katherine currently serves as a Board Member on the American Heart Association Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Team for Middle Tennessee. During her years living in New Jersey, Katherine was nominated by Governor Chris Christie and approved by the New Jersey Senate, to serve on the Educational Facilities Authority Board for 5 years, including being elected as Vice Chair of the Board for two terms.
